Review for Fugly

Jeff Erno, a lauded m/m author, just notified me of his new review of Fugly. You can read it at MichelenJeff Reviews by clicking on the post title.

I'm speechless. Doubly speechless, because there's a review of The Prayer Waltz just below this one.

Hey, congrats, KZ! I especially like the review of The Prayer Waltz "... absolutely profound"! I'm looking forward to reading Fugly.

Thank you, Val. They both really blew me away, especially since Jeff is himself such a fine writer.

I felt the same about Eden Winters' comments onThe Prayer Waltz and yours on Jude in Chains and Wren's and Clare's on a lot of my stuff.

Pleasing readers is always enormously gratifying (yikes, that's an understatement!) but impressing other authors is humbling in the extreme. I don't think I'll ever get used to it. Hell, it's still hard for me to believe my work is even being noticed. I kid you not!

I just copied the links to send to you, then caught this post. The reviews are great. And detailed and thoughtful, too. Congratulations! :)

Hiya, Clare! Thanks for thinking of me. ;-) Jeff's email message alone was a stunner, since so many writers won't deign to say anything nice about other writers...unless there's something in it for them.

Tam, aren't you home yet? It seems like you've been gone for a month!

Thanks, Chris and Katrina.

To cap off this evening of pleasant surprises, another reader emailed me about the book. So at least two people like it. :)
