See some of my true colors.

If you dare. Michele and Jeff, of the excellent Michele 'n' Jeff Reviews, just posted an interview with me. (Click on post title to get there.)

I just realized something about interviews: I sound like a different person in each one. Don't know why this is, exactly, but it must have something to do with how certain questions strike me at certain times.

Anyway, you'll be bloody sick of me by mid-winter. I'll be doing a guest blog at Dawn's Reading Nook (that's Dawn Roberto of the Love Romances Cafe group) on December 10, opining at Reviews by Jessewave on December 21, showing up as a featured author at Rainbow eBooks sometime in January (I think), and doing another featured-author gig at the Goodreads m/m group in February (I think). I'll provide more details in the future -- if, that is, my delusions of grandeur aren't making me imagine all this stuff. :-)

Wow, you're really getting the hang of this publicity thing eh?

Gold star for you! :)

I shall pop over now and have a read.

You KNOW I have that annoying Cyndi Lauper song in my head now don't you? Arrrgghh *shakes fist*

Honest, Jen, I didn't even realize how these "guest appearances" were piling up until I got Jeff's email, which made me realize I had better start writing reminders on my calendar. I'm not used to having to "be" anywhere. ;-)

If it's any consolation, Tam, I feel your pain. I kind of effed my own brain, too, when I chose that phrase.

I like that song, although I prefer the covers by Ane Brun, Caroline Herring, or Kasey Chambers.

Oh wow! After 30-some books and a lifetime of writing you are getting to be famous. And we can all say we knew ye when.

I'd drive you to taco bell but you put that True Colors earworm in my head and it makes me dizzy!

:D

Wren, you can SEND me Taco Bell food. I hear it will keep even through a nuclear detonation.

And...no, I'm not even marginally "famous." Pretty pathetic after that many books, eh? I was at a monster chat loop today and was the only--and I do mean no-exaggeration only--author whose excerpts elicited no responses. (Maybe I was wearing my Cloak of Invisibility without realizing it. Crap, yeah; that explains it! *g*)

"Maybe I was wearing my Cloak of Invisibility without realizing it."

I hate it when that happens.

Your writing is smart and funny and thoughtful and deep. I'll bet it appeals to the discerning reader (Of course it does - it appeals to me!). Maybe those with less discriminating taste don't get into it so much.

Or maybe I'm just FOS and should shut up now.

Here. Have a chalupa.

FOS -- I like that. (And thanks for the faux-Mex chow!)

Ain't nothin' special about my scribbling, but I do appreciate your sweetheartedness (as usual!) in being so supportive. Ach, I just suck at circulating through those monstrous meet-greet-stroke-and-pimp gatherings. I've never functioned well in large groups; they send me into turtle mode.

Some writers, on the other hand, are like hummingbirds on crack when they go to these events. It's all a matter of temperament, I guess.

That is so very true. I do not do meet-greet-chat gatherings very well either. My social awkwardness translates smoothly from real life to online.

Ah well. The world needs all of us, no?

I certainly see that you're just being lazy this month. :)

I'll mark these on my calendar.

Phrew! And I have no clue what my guest blogs are going to be about.
