She actually had to travel to China to find these pretties. A win-win situation for me, because not only did I get her out of my hair for a few weeks, I now have a lifetime supply of . . . well, something I probably don't need. But it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

I kind of like that little orange and white striped number. LOL I've also seen some amazing things made from coloured duct tape. The creativity out there is amazing.
Well at least if you wear that wedding dress you'll be pretty much prepared for the night and honeymoon, right. Not to mention a little bit of last minute nookie with the best man.
I agree, Jen. But lube would make it easier for fat old broads like me to get in and out of these outfits. :-)
Tam, do you get "Project Runway" in Canada? I've seen the designers have to make outfits out of stuff like candy wrappers and newspaper.

I DID Project Runway. Okay, it was the New Jersey edition and we used Barbies. Do you know how freaking hard it is to design an outfit for work made entirely out of office supplies? How about a summer dress out of candy wrappers? (I liked mine actually) or a bridesmaid's dress for a pregnant girl out of baby supplies. (The bridesmaid's dress took me out of the competition thankfully.) This was my favourite, representing the deadly sin of sloth, made in various hotel rooms across the US while on vacation to meet the deadline. Ugh.
We do get it up here but I don't follow it. I'm not even sure what channel it's on but I know it started last night as some of my friends follow.

I just watched a "Project Runway" all-star show. Don't know why that program fascinates me so much. Guess it's a combination of the personalities and the creativity. That's why I like "Top Chef" too, even though I despise sewing and cooking. :-)

Our winner was announced last night. It was Michelle who has no job and thus could spend the time to make AMAZING things. I made some good friends through that competition, maybe someday we'll meet in real life.
We watch Top Chef. Well my daughter watches and I kind of get sucked in. I really liked this last season and I'm going to be in Virginia in June and I really want to go to Bryan's restaurant there but I'm not sure I can convince anyone I'm going to be with to go with me. :-( Actually my daughter texted me from the book store last night in a total panic attack because she was buying the Top Chef Quickfire cookbook. *insert teenage girl squealing here* Let's just hope she puts it to use and I can do a little less cooking myself.
Tam, Bryan's restaurant is in MD. Frederick, MD to be precise and it's less than 40 minutes away from me!!!
We have got to meet. It will take us that long to save up money to eat there!

Thanks Jeanne. I know, my daughter and I were perusing his site. I'm staying somewhere not far from there. I'm not the organizer of the event so I'm going with the flow. Lunch is not that expensive. I ate brunch at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill in NYC. $80 for two of us. Ah well, you only do that once. I'd spend $40 to eat lunch at Bryan's. We'll have to make a date. :-)
